Hephzibah Louise

Hephzibah was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, with Spanish as her mother tongue. She is Indigenous to the country and to its culture. But when she was 4, both her parents decided that she would be taught how to read and write in both English and Spanish at the same time, so she likes to say she's a natural-born Spanglish speaker. She fell in love with writing in English at a very young age and started her first blog at 15 (Hephzibah’s Journey that turned into The One Who Lived in 2017). Her content was centered around life experiences and Christian lessons, with the ever so often poetry post. Subsequently, she went to school for Communications and Cinematography, where she developed most of her creative writing skills. Lately her writing has shifted to mostly poetry, having even been featured with one of her poems at an event in California
