Lance Robertson

Lance Robertson (Dakota) is a member of the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate and grew up on the Lake Traverse Reservation. With a background in spoken word poetry, he performed his original pieces in venues across the U.S. during the mid-2000s. His poetic work has evolved to explore speculative and philosophical themes, focusing on areas like identity, technology, and the human condition. In addition to his poetic pursuits, Lance practices graphic design and web development and holds an Associate degree in Computer Science from Austin Community College. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
