Samantha Manz
Samantha Manz is an enrolled citizen of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. She is originally from Lubbock, TX, which is the ancestral homelands of Nʉmʉnʉʉ Sookobitʉ (Comanche Nation) and Ndé Kónitsąąíí Gokíyaa (Lipan Apache Nation). She currently resides on the ancestral homelands of the Dakota people. She received her Masters in History from Texas Tech University. She has spent the last nine months conducting research at the Museum of Anthropology in Vancouver British Columbia through a Fulbright Open Research Award. Her research focused on MOA’s conservation and repatriation practices with First Nations.
